“Reading was my escape and my comfort, my consolation, my stimulant of choice: reading for the pure pleasure of it, for the beautiful stillness that surrounds you when you hear an author's words reverberating in your head.”
― Paul Auster, The Brooklyn Follies

Say it with conviction!!
I came from a seed which was born out of love.
I am someone who is different from any other that has been born and ever will be.
I am the greatest and most valuable thing on this planet, because the more I grow the more I learn, the greater I become.
I am like nothing else ever created or that has come into existence.
I am an asset, not a liability.
I am strong, not because of what is seen on my outside, but inside my earth suite, I am much more.
I am awake, conscious & alive because I choose to look beyond mere circumstances and see where I want to be.
I am a brother to those who befriend me.
I am a helper to those who need me.
I am compassionate to those who require it.
I am a forever learner of those things that I seek and want to be like.
I am joyful for the little I am given because I realize so many have so much less.
I am grateful for the abundance I have as well because i understand that tomorrow I might not have it.
I am my present not my past.
I am the things I choose to be because it's in the greater good I seek to accomplish that which will leave me a good name.
I am glad to be alive because life is my greatest gift.
I am triumphant in every trial I am given, not because I win them all, but because I learn from each of them.
I am like a bouncing ball, you can throw me to the ground as hard as you can, but I will always bounce higher.
I am not persuaded to give in, because there is something inside me that always pushes me and tells me I can go forward if I only keep moving.

Today, as the sun touches my skin, as I walk into my new week, as I start to process the things I need to do,
the things I wish I shouldn't had done,
the things that others want me to do,

I will never forget who I am.
Because it's not what others perceive me to be,
it's who I choose to be.
That will always be who I am.

You are so much more than what you think you are,
and yet so much less that what you will be.
Why? Because it's how He built us to be.
