You are different for a reason
You aren't worst or better just different.
You have ideas,
you have dreams,
you have visions that others might not see.
Don't fault yourself for being different.
Don't try to either change yourself into something you're not just to please everyone else.
Then loose what makes you so special and that sets you apart.
There are things that you might want to do to improve yourself or your body,
but don't ever let it change who you are.
There is no one, I say no one that thinks like you,
smiles like you,
laughs like you,
sings like you,
has your sense of humor or
can ever dream up the things that you do.
So many people in our past has shown us that being different is what makes this world that we live in so much better.
Great minds from
Einstein,
Gandhi,
Martin Luther King, to
Mother Teresa.
Each of them had different ways of seeing things and it's because of the different way they saw things,
that they were able to make such monumental changes in this small world of ours.
You make this world so much better to live in.
So I will leave you with one of my favorite Poems by Russel Kelfer.
You are who are for a reason
You're part of an intricate plan.
You're a precious and perfect unique design,
Called God's special woman or man.
You look like you look for a reason.
Our God made no mistake.
He knit you together within the womb,
You're just what he wanted to make.
The parents you had were the ones he chose,
And no matter how you may feel,
They were custom-designed with God's plan in mind,
And they bear the Master's seal.
No, that trauma you faced was not easy.
And God wept that it hurt you so;
But it was allowed to shape your heart
So that into his likeness you'd grow.
You are who you are for a reason,
You've been formed by the Master's rod.
You are who you are, beloved,
Because there is a God!
